He wore a dark grey vest with gold accents and matching gloves, as well as a golden sash that had loose ribbon-like fabric attached to it. His long pants were a worn-out beige.

Before Matolara had been elected as Premier of Basillera, he was close to the previous ruler "like a nephew". At the age of 28, he was elected and served one 10-year term before being re-elected.<ref>[[Spireloft Lore Document]]</ref>
