Gadger was a Spireloft character who was formerly in the service of Slasstian Mendrow's Twine loansharking organisation.
Visual Description
Gadger was a middle-aged, ginger human of average build. He had a short beard and wore a green vest over a beige tunic.
History
Gadger worked as a "house repairman" before the events of Spireloft, informing Mendrow of anything significant about the residents of Erumita.
After the Twine's dissolution by the government of Lorecia, Gadger sought employment as Lord Reior's personal assistant and travelled with him to Basillera on the Coral Caps. His job mainly consisted of carrying Reior's belongings.
During the voyage in the session No Ship Sherlock, he unintentionally[1] murdered Krewm Aite and stole multiple rings from them. He then tied them to the ship's rigging. He was eventually caught by Group 7422 and imprisoned at Cutler Cove, where he was later visited by Klaes and later by Arginor Ashven, who repeatedly visited him as there were no guards feeding him at his holding cell.
A couple days into the siege, Gadger was murdered during one of Arginor's visits to his cell. The Antidote would later learn from prison documentation sent to Torryen Prison that it appeared that Arginor had killed Gadger in "self defense".[2]
Gadger's body would be kept close by Arginor and used to assassinate Vrik Knaver in Aucturacten. In ...Fear Like Nothing Else, it was revealed that Arginor was not conscious when killing Gadger, but something else had taking possession of his body.
In Spireloft Lives, Gadger's corpse was used during the final confrontations with The Antidote.
