This set of pages serves as a queue of selected anniversaries which populate the section of the Main Page each day. It is based on Wikipedia's "select anniversary" section. Each entry is a subpage that is then transcluded onto the {{Anniversaries}} template, which is then transcluded onto the main page.

How to access pages edit

All dates are subpages listed by month and day! For example, to find the first day of the first NBITTRPG session, you can go to NBITTRPG Wiki:Selected anniversaries/January 30.

According to the wiki's timezone, today is December 8!

On this day...

December 8
Nothing of note seems to have happened on this day.

Formatting edit

All pages are in list format regardless of how many items there are. The only exception is if there are no notable events for that day, in which a single stock sentence will suffice. Each list item should be formatted with the year in bold, then an emdash using — or {{emdash}}, and then a description of the event in passive voice.[1] Please make sure to list only one event per year. From top to bottom, the list's years should be in chronological order.

If you would like to list something that is not any of the below, we can talk and standardize a format for it! Otherwise, the priority for what gets to be in that year goes in the following heading order:

  1. Sessions
  2. Documents
  3. Channel creation
  4. Bits
  5. Lack of notable events

Sessions edit

Sessions should be formatted as such, with the session number written out in letters and the name coming last:

Documents edit

For documents and side stories, they should be written in a similar format to:

If the document is related to a world in general and is not directly related to a campaign, referring to the world is appropriate. If the document has no relation to a campaign or spans over several, the campaign name can be omitted and the document can just be said to have released.

Channel creation edit

For days a Discord channel was created in relation to a world or campaign, just mention the world or campaign and just call it a "channel".

  • 2021 — The Weathia channel was created.

Bits edit

For significant moments in NBITTRPG text-history (e.g. original messages that sparked ongoing jokes), you may simply post a screenshot of the interaction.

  • 2022

Lack of notable events edit

  • If there are no notable events, add "Nothing of note seems to have happened on this day." to the page.

Footer edit

Be aware that there is a footer template called {{AnniversaryFooter}} you should add to the end of the page entry! If the page has no notable events, add a <br>, then add the template after. Input the day and month of the entry to the template as follows.

For June 16th, it should look like "AnniversaryFooter|Day=16|Month=June" within the braces.
