Gerardanson Durand

Gerardanson Durand used to be a General in the Basilleran Army, before joining The Antidote. During his time in the army he went after many criminals, including Rockerluck.

History

Early Life

Gerardanson was born 42 years before the events of Spireloft. During his early childhood he grew up with only one parent, his father. They didn't have much and lived in poor circumstances which lead to his father taking loans from shady criminals.

This eventually caused a problem for the family as one of the criminals came to collect their debt early, which lead to a fight, killing Gerardanson's father. The criminal who did this ran away but got stopped by a local guard, who killed him in the process. Which inspired Gerardanson to become a soldier himself, hunting down criminals as a job.

The Military Academy

Gerardanson at a young age joined the military academy to become a soldier one day. Whilst he was rather focused on succeeding in this cause, he did make some friends along the way. With these people he'd eventually join Lieutenant Salazar's command, who he served under during his training years.

Gerardanson was also specially trained in naval related activities, such as knowing how to sail a ship.

The Military

Gerardanson at some point got appointed to General, which was unusual due to his young age. His early carreer went well, succesfully dispatching many criminals. All went well until his first encounter with the criminal overlord, Rockerluck, someone who proved to be too much even for Gerardanson to handle.

Defeat after defeat, Gerardanson petty desire to get rid of criminals, got the best of him. During their final chase with Rockerluck on sea, the crew got tired of the General and his antics and staged a munity. Throwing the crazed General overboard.

Gerardanson lives

Gerardanson gets married and adopts a child.

Controversies

During Gerardanson's later encounters with Rockerluck, he got a lot more soldiers killed than usual, whilst also treating them worse. Which had gotten him a lot of flack from those who worked with him.

During the events of Spireloft, Gerardanson has been seen mistreating Rift, due to their criminal past.^{[citation needed]} Although warming up to them a bit more, Gerardanson would not shy away from the occasional snide remarks. Furthermore dropping his blade on Rift's shoulder, certainly put more fuel on the fire.

Along with Rift, Howie was also on the receiving end of Gerardanson's harassment over them being a criminal.

Gerardanson was known for both harassing and threatening Cibil Cythalamynn during the events of Spireloft. Even though Cibil is just a little baby.

Gerardanson has gotten a lot of criticism for his actions during the final fight against Arginor Ashven, employing tactics like stabbing Rift caused a lot of commotion inside the party.
