Rift was a member of The Antidote. IDK what to say here man they're an alcoholic and they have problems but they're trying to be nonchalant about it.

History

Early Life

Rift was born 30 years before the events of Spireloft. Born as Soleil Arun to two parents in Aucturacten, they were primed to serve the Antan military. The pressure from their home life caused them to be a troublesome child at school, with many of their peers avoiding them, except for Aeslii. Over the years they went from friends to lovers until it was time for Rift to enlist in the military to which they agreed to wed once they came back.

Trivia

• Dev note: in hindsight the whole flirty Rift thing is weird since technically they were in a relationship during the events of Spireloft. I can chalk this up to either Rift wanting to be playful since they expected to die sometime during the campaign or them flirting but not actually wanting anything serious out of it. But the reality is i didn't think of Rift having a relationship until it was a bit into the campaign so just imagine Aeslii beating Rift's ass when they came home.
